The 'Traverse' is the most sought after multi day winter mountaineering routes in the Northeast.

The Presidential Range Traverse is a difficult and challenging mountaineering adventure in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Trail conditions vary widely with either deeps snows or thinly snow covered rocks and verglas ice. What to plan for is steep and rugged terrain and varied conditions. The majority of the traverse is above tree line exposing climbers to the beauty and magnificent views of the White Mountain range. This 20+ mile adventure generally takes teams three days. Two overnight camps are established in cols along the ridge. We drop down to sheltered areas at or below treeline. As a bonus we will attempt to climb nine summits including Mt Washington along the traverse.
