Summer Alpinism in the North Cascades Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Travel day, on your way to Seattle, with arrival in early afternoon. Our guide may meet you at the airport or
at the campground. Set up a camping spot and enjoy an evening dinner on the way to the mountains.
Day 2-3: Climb Washington Pass rock routes just of highway 20 and get used to the granite crack climbs. Liberty Bell and South Early Winter Spire offer excellent rock routes.
Day 4: Approach Boston Basin Area to set camp. Snow climbing and glacier travel clinics in the afternoon.
Day 5: Climb the Forbidden Peak or the Sharkfin Tower high above our camp.
Day 6: Break camp in the morning. Travel to Seattle to ready for early flights on day 7.
Day 7: Travel day
