GENERAL INFORMATION
Reservations We offer instruction and guided climbs daily. To reserve a date convenient for you please email art@mooneymountainguides.com or call 603-744-5853. To reserve your requested date, we require a $100.00 per person deposit. Personal checks and money orders are accepted. For trips and expeditions a larger deposit may be required. Payment Options: You may if you wish, make your deposit or payment with this secure and convenient link to the Pay Pal website. Our cancellation policy requires notification at least 7 days prior to your day for rescheduling and 14 days prior for a full refund. If the day is cancelled due to inclement weather the day can be rescheduled, or your deposit will be refunded. Cancellations less than 7 days and no shows forfeit their reservation fee. Location Our convenient location is 2 hours north of Boston in the town of New Hampton which we use as our base of operation. Interstate 93 provides fast, easy access to this part of New Hampshire. A few miles to the north are the scenic White Mountains which are close to many of the summer rock and winter ice climbing areas.

Generally we meet in the Plymouth, NH area at 8 AM. Early starts are sometimes arranged for longer ice and alpine objectives. Later starts can be arranged to suit your needs. What to Bring Please see our equipment lists by clicking on your type of program below. These describe clothing and personal items appropriate to the season and objective. To make the most of the day please have all your gear and lunch with drinks ready to go. Lunch should be light and easy to eat. Sandwiches, gorp, powerbars, gu or power gel, and 2 liters of water are some suggestions. During the winter hot drinks can be carried in a small thermos or "water bottle parkas". Please make sure you have appropriate footwear for all climbs. Running shoes, sneakers, and lightweight hikers fall into this category. We do not recommend sandals or Tevas. Group Gear We Supply For rock climbs we provide rock shoes, harness, helmet, ropes, medical kit, and all other technical gear needed for the days climb. In the winter we provide boots, crampons, ice tool/axe(s), harness, helmet, ropes, snow and ice protection, and medical kit. For overnight trips we provide tents, snowshoes, stoves, and fuel.
